Nursing in the community careers roadshow

Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is hosting a nursing in the community careers roadshow.

The trust’s community nursing team wants to promote its full and part-time opportunities to registered nurses who are passionate about patient care and want to make a difference to the local area.

A spokesman for the trust said: “We are running a series of roadshows across our community sites, showcasing how the Royal Devon delivers patient care in the community.

“Come along and learn about the different roles available across our community locations, meet the team and tour the department.

“You could even arrange an interview if you’ve applied for a Community Nurse role with us.”

The trust says its community nursing team offers bespoke training and support, with a tailored induction reflecting new joiners’ existing skills and experience.

Staff who are new to the trust join its Buddy scheme and Newly Registered Nurses join its Preceptorship programme.

The community careers roadshow will take place at Exmouth Hospital on Saturday, August 12, at Honiton Hospital on Saturday, September 9, and at North Devon District Hospital on Saturday, October 7.
