The Christie announces Lymphoma Nurses Study Day

The Christie School of Oncology has announced it will run a Lymphoma Nurses Study Day later this year.

The event is designed for all qualified healthcare professionals – including community and district nurses – who are involved in the care of patients with lymphoma or anyone with a special interest in this patient group.

Attendees can expect to learn about common types of lymphomas and their management, late effects of treatment and survivorship from the patient and lymphoma team perspective, management of relapsed lymphoma and nurse led clinics.

A representative of The Christie School of Oncology said: “This study day will examine lymphoma and the patient pathway, focussing on some of the more common types of lymphoma, management of relapsed disease, and consideration of late effects of treatment, expanding specialist knowledge about the care of patients with lymphoma.”

The hybrid event will take place 9am to 5pm on Tuesday, November 14, virtually or onsite at The Christie School of Oncology in Wilmslow Road, Manchester.
