One week to go to National obesity conference

There is just one week to go until the inaugural Obesity & Weight Management Alliance conference, promising extensive learning opportunities for healthcare professionals at all levels of expertise.

Ensuring UK healthcare professionals are well equipped to tackle the increasing pressures associated with the rising obesity rates across the UK, the conference will be held on Friday, May 17, at the National Conference Centre Birmingham.

The event’s packed agenda covers the causes and consequences of obesity, weight loss and maintenance, the impact of obesity on pregnancy outcomes, type 2 diabetes, surgical treatment, heart failure, integrated care and pharmacotherapy. Each speaker brings a wealth of expertise and insight, ensuring attendees receive comprehensive and cutting-edge information.
