Island nurses receive Queen’s Nurse title
Isle of Wight NHS Trust is proud to share four of its Community Nurses have been given the prestigious title of Queen's Nurse by The Queen's Nursing Institute.
The Community Nurses are:
Charlotte Bexon-Stone, Quality Matron- Community
Jackie Balloch, District Nurse team Lead - Northeast
Peter Scholes, Parkinson’s Nurse Specialist
Sarah Kearney, Respiratory Nurse Specialist
This is a real achievement and means the Trust now has a total of 18 island nurses who have received the Queen’s Nurse title.
Charlotte Bexon-Stone, Quality Matron - Community, said: “Receiving the Queen’s Nurse title is not only an honour but a privilege and something that I am incredibly proud of. I look forward to networking with like minded individuals, sharing experiences and enhancing the lives of patients in our island community.”
Jackie Balloch, District Nurse Team Leader, added: “I am delighted and honoured to have been awarded the title of Queen’s Nurse, it’s a great privilege and I’m looking forward to networking with others across the country to share experiences and to support each other.”
